Hey there, I hope you are having a great week. It’s Friday so no matter what, things are looking up! It’s DIY Friday<\/a> so I’m sharing this fun little DIY wood bead garland with tassels. I’ve been obsessing over all of the wood bead garlands I’ve been seeing everywhere. These little accessories are so fun to decorate with and they are so simple to create.<\/p>\n

Peighton and I had so much fun making these. I made this one in no time and then she made a matching one with the leftover beads. We both adorned our lamps with the garlands. It was so fun to decorate with my kiddo – this was the perfect activity for us to do together.<\/p>\n

Wood bead garlands are pretty trendy right now. I’ve found dozens online but they are all around $20 each. That’s pricey for some wood beads on a string.<\/p>\n

They are great for decorating around your home and you can use them as vase fillers, wrap them around demijohns or your lamp, or you can hang them on your mantel. They are the perfect accessory. I especially love the natural wood tone because it brings an element of warmth.<\/p>\n

Since I loved them so much but wasn’t crazy about the price tag, it made sense that I’d try to make one myself. I was able to make a strand of wood bead garland with cute little tassels for less than $4 each. I’m excited to share this tutorial today!<\/p>\n
